Privacy policy

We collect as little data as possible. Here is exactly what the site records.

Destination votes

When you vote, we record the destination, the date, your country (derived from your connection) and an encrypted fingerprint of your IP address. This fingerprint cannot be turned back into your IP address: it is only used to limit repeat votes and changes every day. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in a reliable vote.

If you leave your email, we only use it to tell you when the chosen notebook is released. Legal basis: your consent, which you can withdraw at any time with the unsubscribe link included in every email. The address is deleted at the latest three years after you sign up.

Clicks to Amazon

We count clicks on Amazon buttons (notebook, store, country, date) to learn which notebooks people like. No personal data is attached to these clicks. Once on Amazon, Amazon's privacy policy applies.

Visit statistics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which measures traffic without cookies and without tracking visitors across sites.

Anti-bot protection

Voting is protected by Cloudflare Turnstile, which checks that you are not a robot without advertising cookies.

Hosting and processors

The site and its data are hosted by Cloudflare. Data is never sold or shared for advertising.

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by contacting us (details in the legal notice). You can also contact the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr).
